PRESENTER PAYMENT INFO
Dear Presenters, Vendors and Practitioners,
Class Structure
Sea Angels intends to leave guests/students with "working knowledge" of the area they wish to focus on. These "focus areas" will also deliver to you the more serious students of your craft, whether beginners or those seeking more advanced knowledge and expertise. More information will be forthcoming as the programs develop. Everyone will need to fill out NEW Presenter and/or Practitioner Application Forms as several statements and requirements have changed. Sorry about the inconvenience, but it is necessary.
Now please understand that all our presenters and speakers, do of course, charge when presenting at various venues. Sea Angels' classes are open and free of charge to our guests and fellow presenters and practitioners. If you cannot agree to this, this is probably not the cruise for you.
Our goal is education, networking, and fellowship.
Speaker Honorarium Program
We are concentrating our efforts on giving to the presenters that are giving to this spiritual program and to the guests who attend it. It has always been the goal of Sea Angels to be in a position, which assists those presenters that have always been there for the Sea Angels.
For the past 10 years we have had dedicated teachers come and offer their knowledge while paying their own way. One day Sea Angels will have the funding to finance each speaker's cruise experience. It is unfortunate that is not the case at this time. However, I will affirm to you, as more guests attend the cruise, the more there is in the budget. The more in the budget the more I can assist the Speakers.
Here is the breakdown of what I get and what I can do:
I am breaking down what Sea Angels will give each speaker based on the amount of classes they teach. Please note that presenters being able to offer any sort of C.E.U.'s (must be accountable with an accredited organization or university) will receive more of an honorarium as they can offer an official certification. Also, at least four Sea Angels must sign up and take a class segment in order to qualify for payment to the Presenter.
Honorarium can apply to any and all upgrades.
1 segment (2 hour time slot) - $100.00 paid at the end of the cruise.
1 segment (2 hour time slot) w/ C.E.U.s' - $150.00 paid at the end of the cruise
2 segments (4 hour time slot) - $200.00 paid at the end of the cruise.
2 segments (4 hour time slot) w/ C.E.U.s' - $250.00 paid at the end of the
cruise
3 segments (6 hour time slot) - $300.00 paid at the end of the cruise.
3 segments (6 hour time slot) w/ C.E.U.s' - $350.00 paid at the end of the
cruise
4 segments (8 hour time slot) - $400.00 paid at the end of the cruise.
4 segments (8 hour time slot) w/ C.E.U.s' - $450.00 paid at the end of the
cruise.
5 segments (10 hour time slot) - Towards cruise $500.00
5 segments (10 hour time slot) w/ C.E.U.s' - $550.00 paid at the end of the cruise.
6 segments (12 hour time slot) - $600.00 paid at the end of the cruise.
6 segments (12 hour time slot) w/ C.E.U.s' - $650.00 paid at the end of the cruise.
New Referral Structure
This is open to all Presenters, Practitioners and Vendors!
For every 16 Conference Attendees that book, Sea Angels will get a percentage total count credit from Royal Caribbean after the cruise is completed. It is part of a group deal given to us by the cruise lines. We'd like to pass along some of this incentive to you.
For each NEW Conference Attendee (non Presenter/Practitioner or roommate) who pays the Sea Angels Conference and Admin Fee ($260) and attends the cruise based on your referral, you will receive $50 within 6 - 8 weeks after the cruise ends.
There are some rules to this, however, so let's review so we all know were we stand.
Referrals MUST be students / conference attendees, paying the registration fee ($260).
All referrals must ATTEND the cruise to be counted towards your award.
A past guest cannot count as a referral. This has been a long-standing policy as far as guest referrals.
Your cabin mates cannot count towards your referral.
These fees will be reimbursed after the cruise, as no passenger is counted towards a TC until the sailing. Meaning, you will be reimbursed when the cruise line gifts me with the rooms you have earned. I will pay the fees to you within 15 days of receipt from the cruise line (typical timing is 6-8 weeks after sailing and is entirely in the hands of the cruise line reconciliation department).
Make sure your flyers are marked with your name if you are giving them out at an event where one-on-one contact is not available.
We will ask the new sign-ups where they heard of the cruise, and/or who referred them. Sometimes they have said "the lady that taught polarity", or "the man from Cassadega". I will attempt to get to know all the speakers so I can put a name to the description.
How to encourage referrals
Place our NEW banner on your website - coming soon!
Distribute our flyers at events, place in local new age stores (with permission first please), and send them out with any product you ship including your taped sessions, massage oils, or books.
Tell your friends about us. If you have traveled with us before, you know what a great experience this is! Those of you who are new, invest in us as we are investing in you.
Be familiar with the workshops and what is being offered by OTHER presenters, so that you can share that knowledge. For ex. If you know a client you are working on is a natural healer, but untrained, inform them about our Reiki Classes. This is a referral for you, and a huge life-changing event for them.
Some people take out ads in various New Age event programs
Be sure to send each client away from your service with one of our flyers in their hands.
